Integration
I just saw a link to this article about the integration of prom in a town in Georgia. There are some absolutely stellar quotes from (white) students rationalizing their separate proms.

Whoa.
My "favorite" part is:
"There was not anybody that I can remember that was black," she said. "The white people have theirs, and the black people have theirs. It's nothing racial at all."
